First day of Summer 2012

It has been a while since I have posted anything on this blog.  Well, my 5 year old is now an 8 year old who has finished 2nd grade.     He is more interested in playing with his friends, thus giving me a few minutes here and there to accomplish things that need accomplishing.   

Today is the first official day of summer for our family.   I have compiled a list of things I want to accomplish, just because. Things I want to do.  After running a bunch of errands, I got In N Out for lunch.  You can't lose with that. The burger and fries are always perfect.  Even though I live in So. Cal, I don't often go there, so it was a treat.   I also went to the library. One of my goals for the summer is to go to the library and pick an adult book.  I spent almost an hour just looking at all the possibilities. I ended up with two paperback fiction books. Perfect for another goal: to sit outside and read just for fun.   That goal will have to happen on another day.
